The National Society of Collegiate Scholars annually awards $1,000 scholarships to 52 outstanding new members of the society across the country. Recipients are selected based on how they honor and inspire academic excellence, and engaged citizenship on their campus throughout their undergraduate experience.

NSCS is an honor society that engages high-achieving first- and second-year students in the top 20 percent of their class through programs such as Preparing to Achieve Collegiate Excellence and Integrity Week. The Baker University chapter of NSCS was chartered in spring 2011.
