MLK celebration set for Jan. 26

Baldwin City, Kan. — Devan A. Taylor, senior pastor of Beyond the Four Walls Church International, will speak at Baker University’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Osborne Chapel on the Baldwin City campus.Chapel-lit2

Taylor began preaching at age of 16 years and attended the University of Central America Bible College. After completing his studies, Taylor served eight years in the U.S. Army. He was a youth pastor for three years before serving as the national youth director of Pentecostal Church of God of Christ in 1996-2001.

In 1996 he founded Beyond the Four Walls Church International in Kansas City, Mo.
