NEWS RELEASE Students, faculty participate in MLK Day of ServiceBaldwin City, Kan. — More than 20 Baker University students and staff members participated in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday. The event was sponsored by the Office of Student Life. The students and staff volunteered at First United Methodist Church, Lumberyard Arts Center and Vintage Park in Baldwin City and Harvesters Community Food Network in Topeka. Student volunteers were Lauren Amrein, Alli Arnold, Carly Berblinger, Cody Bonebrake, Kacee Britton, Kendra Clark, Lauren Dunkak, Stephanie Haug, Ana Henriquez-Bravo, Ryan Hodges, Previn Moore, Katelyn Morris, Teresa Morse, Chelsea Pennock, MacKenzie Pfeiffer, Paige Queen, Katerra Shackelford, Paige Smith, Kalijah Sweeney, Krystyna Van Driel, Sierra Wallace and Katy Westhoff. Staff volunteers were Cassy Bailey, dean of students; Brett Bruner, director of student life; Teresa Clounch, associate dean of students; and Susan Wade, director of career services. ### Baker University is committed to assuring student learning, and developing confident, competent and responsible contributors to society.
