Senior honored with National Association for Campus Activities scholarship

Baldwin City, Kan. — Rachel Dannen, a Baker University senior from Olathe, Kan., has been selected to receive the National Association for Campus Activities Heart of America Region Scholarship for student leaders.Rachel-Dannen

The scholarship recognizes student leaders in campus activities and programming boards. Dannen, an Olathe East High School graduate, is in her second term as the president of the Baker University Student Activities Council.

“Rachel has grown immensely as a student leader with great poise and a natural leadership ability,” said Randy Flowers, graduate assistant for student activities at Baker University. “Rachel has pushed herself to create a positive change within student activities that not many students could handle. She will be a great leader for many years to come and I look forward to seeing the success she continues to create.”

The announcement of her award will be included in the next issue of Campus Activities Programming.
