NEWS RELEASE School of Nursing students inducted into national honor societyTopeka, Kan. — The Eta Kappa Chapter-at-Large of Sigma Theta Tau International, the national honor society for nursing, inducted 17 Baker School of Nursing members on May 1. Undergraduate students must have a 3.0 grade-point avreage and rank in the top 35 percent of their class to qualify for membership. Baker students from the May graduating class were Cheyenne Barron, Brennan Brands, Chelsea Carnagie, Angelina Guerrero, Katie James, Daniel Jones, Sarah Luecke, Nicole Woods, Laura Caby, Steve Collins, Trisha Dietz, Sara Griffith, Kate Harper, Hailey Hoobler, Jessica McConnell, Krysta Ransone and Michelle Schaller. McConnell will receive the chapter scholarship at the pinning ceremony on May 20 at Grace Episcopal Cathedral in Topeka.
