Baker University crowns homecoming king, queen
Baldwin City, Kan. — Jordan Robertson, a senior from Little Rock, Ark., and Lauren Breithaupt, a senior from Overland Park, Kan., were crowned Baker University’s homecoming king and queen on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Liston Stadium.
Robertson represented Delta Tau Delta fraternity and Breithaupt, a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, represented the Upsilon Tau Chapter of Order of Omega. Order of Omega is a leadership honor society for members of greek organizations, recognizing juniors and seniors who have exemplified high standards in the areas of scholarship, leadership, involvement within their respective organization and within their respective organization and within the greek, campus and local community.
Of the 10 finalists for homecoming royalty, five were members of Order of Omega: Breithaupt (Zeta Tau Alpha), Timothy Laughlin (Sigma Phi Epsilon), Milan Piva (Zeta Tau Alpha), David Bryce Bowers (Zeta Chi) and Lauren Williams (Baker Serves). In addition to those five and Robertson, other finalists were Katerra Schackelford (Zeta Phi Beta), Lauren Amrein (Up ‘Til Dawn), Brandon Haefke (Student Activities Council) and Andrew Kelley (Up ‘Til Dawn).
