Students honored at Kansas Association of Broadcasters competition

Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University's student-led radio and television stations recently received five second-place awards from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters in the annual student broadcast awards competition.

KNBU-FM placed second in the station promotional event category for Baldwin City Breakdown II.

Second-place finishes for KNBU-TV students came in 30-second commercial (Patrick Mirch and Alix Schiraldi), taped newscast, sportscast for Wildcat Sports Report (Brad Barnes) and hard news package for Gessner Hall water issues (Brad Barnes).
