Olathe junior named Student Leader of Month for April

Baldwin City, Kan. — Lauren Williams, a Baker University junior elementary education major from Olathe, Kan., has been named Baker University's Student Leader of the Month for April.Lauren-Williamsforweb

Williams is the president of Baker Serves, student director of the Emerging Leaders Summit and the summer student coordinator for the orientation program. Baker Serves is a community service organization that serves as a liaison between Baker students and volunteer opportunities.

The nomination for the leadership honor stated:

"Lauren is a leader you can rely on every day to do what is right and to be there when you truly need her. Lauren also holds a position in her sorority house while balancing her school work and personal life all at the same time. Lauren is absolutely amazing, and an asset to anyone's team."
