School of Nursing students inducted into national honor society

Topeka, Kan. — The Eta Kappa Chapter-at-Large of Sigma Theta Tau International, the national honor society for nursing, inducted 14 members of the May 2013 Baker University School of Nursing graduating class and an alumna on May 7.

Undergraduate students must have a 3.0 grade-point average and rank in the top 35 percent of their class to qualify for membership.

The SON students inducted were Kelsey Allen, Levi Grimm, Karalie Richards, Brooke Sanders, Lauren Thames, Jazmen Dumbauld, Heather Gruber, Ashley Haverkamp, Sarah Hutchings, Chelsea Rosenberger, Kea Wormsley, Lori Hunsinger, Johanna Almquist Rourke and Kelsey Wise. Levi Grimm will receive the chapter scholarship at the pinning ceremony on May 17. Alumna Erika Parker, a 2010 graduate, was inducted as a community member.
