University crowns homecoming king and queen

Baldwin City, Kan. — Ben Sobek, a junior from Lee's Summit, Mo., and Nancy Delgado, a senior from Emporia, Kan., were crowned Baker University's homecoming king and queen on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Liston Stadium.King-Ben-Sobek-and-Queen-Nancy-Delgadoforweb

Sobek, a Spanish and French major, is president of Zeta Chi fraternity, Interfraternity Council, Baker Rallies against Violence, and Alpha Mu Gamma, an honor society for students. He represented Baker Rallies Against Violence at homecoming.

Delgado, majoring in biology, pre-medicine and Spanish, represented Sigma Delta Pi, a national collegiate Hispanic honor society. A member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, she served as president of the junior class and of Sigma Delta Pi. She previously was president of the sophomore class and vice-president of the freshman class at Baker.
