Fundraiser to support Streams of Hope International

Lawrence, Kan. — A fundraiser to support Streams of Hope International, which provides medical supplies and health care in Kenya, is set for 4-6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at Victory Bible Church, 1942 Mass. St. in Lawrence.Jenny-Andrews-4th-level-with-Megan-Andrews-with-Childrenforweb

The cost for the fundraiser is $25 per person. A Kenyan meal will be provided at the event. Raffle items include an African picnic bag, hand bags, bracelets, jewelry and artwork.

Representatives from Streams of Hope will provide information on the summer 2014 Kenya medical mission. For the past two years, Baker University School of Nursing students and alumni have traveled to Kenya as part of a Streams of Hope medical mission to work at the health clinic established by Baker School of Nursing alumni Ephantus Kimori Mwangi and his wife, Hottensiah Kimori.
