Nursing students, alumnae inducted into honor society

Topeka, Kan. — The Eta Kappa Chapter-at-Large of Sigma Theta Tau International, the national honor society for nursing, recently inducted 14 Baker School of Nursing graduates and two Baker alumnae.Baker-SONforweb

Undergraduate students must have a 3.0 grade-point average and rank in the top 35 percent of their class to qualify for membership.

Baker students inducted were Jennifer Andrews, Sara Busby, Allison Decker, Sarah Ernst, Shannon Good, Leslie Hart, Johna Herrera, Sarah Keenan, Olivia Kennedy, Haley Knowland, Jessica Luvisi, Paula Mattern, Emily McGinnis, Kristina Vazquez and Stephanie Walters. Good received the chapter scholarship at the pinning ceremony on Dec. 13 at Grace Episcopal Cathedral.

Alumnae Amy Kincaid, '93, and Elizabeth Deng, '11, were inducted as community members.
