Master of Liberal Arts program ranked fifth nationally

Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University’s Master of Liberal Arts online degree program has been ranked fifth nationally by the wordfocus.com website.Parmenter Hall

The site selected Baker for its dedication to “refining their undergraduate accomplishments” and accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission, North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It also noted Baker’s concentration programs meeting the various professional standards for study in professional disciplines.

The MLA program, provided at Baker since the mid-1970s, is known for customizing its curriculum for students with an emphasis on creative arts, history and ideas, and natural and social sciences.

“For nearly 40 years, Baker University has been at the forefront of educating adult learners,” said Brian Messer, vice president and dean of Baker’s School of Professional and Graduate Studies. “The latest honor highlights the importance of our well-rounded degree program and how the vast learning opportunities at Baker prepare our students for a rewarding career.”
