Baldwin City, Kan. — Spurred by solid numbers at all three of its schools, Baker University reached an all-time high of 3,261 students for the fall semester.

Enrollment in the College of Arts and Sciences in Baldwin City is 916 — a 7 percent increase from last fall. The 2005 figure includes 291 new students — 239 freshmen and 52 transfers. The freshmen total is a 17.7 percent increase from the past year.

The School of Professional and Graduate Studies based in Overland Park lists its enrollment of 2,210.

The School of Nursing at Stormont-Vail Regional HealthCare in Topeka has 135 students this fall.
