Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University’s main campus closed Tuesday afternoon while city officials repaired a malfunction in a water main valve between Baldwin City and Lawrence.

Due to the water shortage, Baker maintenance workers planned to have two portable toilets placed outside the University’s four residence halls and Harter Union.

Bottled water will be available to students at Harter Union.

The Wildcat Café will be closed the rest of Tuesday.

Repairs are expected to be completed Tuesday night. If repairs are completed, the campus will reopen Wednesday morning.
