Baldwin City, Kan. — The Baker University Artist and Lecture Series will feature author and environmentalist Bob Reiss as the Milford White Memorial lecturer at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17, in the Owens musical arts building’s Audio-Visual Room.

An author of several books, a former Chicago Tribune reporter and an expert in global warming, Reiss will present a lecture followed by a question and answer session. His appearance will mark the end of a weeklong focus on the issue of global warming.  The movie “An Inconvenient Truth” by Al Gore will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in the Audio-Visual room. There is no admission charge to view the movie.

They also may be purchased at the door the night of the lecture. Ticket prices are $15 adults and $10 students.
