Overland Park, Kan. — Baker University will unveil its new facility for its School of Professional and Graduate Studies/School of Education graduate programs on Friday, Nov. 2.

The public is welcome to attend an open house from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the 30,000-square-foot site at 7301 College Blvd. The facility consists of 25 classrooms, a conference area, two individual meeting rooms and a vending area. The five classrooms at the current SPGS location at 8001 College Blvd. will be renovated into administrative offices.

All classrooms at the new site are equipped with Internet access. A smart board and document camera are available upon request. The rooms are furnished to enhance the student experience and to encourage interaction in the classroom.

Classes began at the new facility on Oct. 8. Baker is offering new programs in conflict management and dispute resolution and an online master’s in business administration.

Enrollment for Baker’s SPGS and School of Education graduate programs is 2,862 students. The University also has SPGS facilities in Topeka, Kan., Wichita, Kan., and Lee’s Summit, Mo.
