Topeka, Kan. — Baker University’s School of Nursing has received a Certificate of Excellence from the Kansas Board of Nursing "in recognition of the program's pass rate that was above the national average for first-time NCLEX-RN takers for the testing period Jan. 1, 2007 to Dec. 31, 2007."

The program's first-time pass rate for 2007 was 97.3 percent compared with a national pass rate of 78.6 percent and Kansas average of 85.9 percent. All December graduates have now successfully passed and are working as registered nurses.
