Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker Orange editor Jenalea Myers, a senior from Atchison, has been named journalist of the year by the annual Kansas Associated Collegiate Press conference.

Myers is the sixth editor of the Orange, Baker University’s student newspaper, to win the highest honor for college journalists.

The newspaper also received the All-Kansas honor for being the best newspaper in the four-year private college category. The Orange has won the award nine times in 11 years.
