Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University and the 17 other private colleges in the state will participate June 2-6 in Kansas Private College Week, a special campus visit event.

Prospective students and their families can visit Baker at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. during the week for a campus tour and learn more about the admissions process, scholarship opportunities and meet Baker students and faculty.

More than 23,000 students enroll at Kansas private colleges each year. These schools annually award 19 percent of the state’s bachelor’s degrees and 29 percent of the state’s master’s degrees.

Other schools participating are Benedictine College, Bethany College, Bethel College, Central Christian College, Donnelly College, Friends University, Hesston College, Kansas Wesleyan University, Manhattan Christian College, McPherson College, MidAmerica Nazarene University, Newman University, Ottawa University, Southwestern College, Sterling College, Tabor College and University of Saint Mary.
