Baldwin City, Kan. —Baker University’s choral department will present the annual Fall Choral Concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14 at Rice Auditorium. Admission is free.

The Concert Choir, Chamber Singers and University Singers, under the direction of John Buehler and accompanied by Susan Buehler, will perform at the concert.

The featured guest honor choir will be the Wichita Collegiate High School Choir under the direction of Steve Bixler.  

The Concert Choir will premiere a work by composer Hubert Bird, dedicated to Dr. and Mrs. Jared Grantham, Baker graduates, patrons of the arts, and enthusiasts for the Baker University music department.  

The program will include works from the 17th century to the present by composers G.F. Handel, Antonio Caldara, Pablo Casals, Ola Gjeilo, Eric Whitacre, John Leavitt, Franz Biebl, and Johannes Brahms.
