Online Enrollment
Degree-seeking students and students who have been admitted into the following programs can enroll in classes online through their student portal:
- Master of Liberal Arts
- Master of Arts in Education
- Master of Science in School Leadership
- School Leadership Licensure only programs
An online enrollment tutorial is available through the student portal in the Academics section. If you do not yet have a student portal account, click on “Create a New Account” and follow the directions on the student portal homepage. If you need additional assistance setting up your student portal account, please submit an online Help Desk request.
Enrollment Dates
Online enrollment for current and recently admitted degree-seeking students will open according to the following schedule:
- Monday, July 12, 9 a.m. Students who have completed 24+ Baker credit hours by the end of Spring II and all MSSL licensure only and MST students.
- Tuesday, July 13, 9 a.m. Students who have completed 18+ Baker credit hours by the end of Spring II.
- Wednesday, July 14, 9 a.m. Students who have completed 12+ Baker credit hours by the end of Spring II.
- Thursday, July 15, 9 a.m. Students who have completed fewer than 12 Baker credit hours by the end of Spring II.
New students: Enrollment for new, degree-seeking students begins Thursday, July 15 at 9 a.m. All newly admitted education students must contact their enrollment advisor at 913.491.4432 to enroll. All newly admitted Master of Liberal Arts students must contact their enrollment advisor at 866.296.0160 (toll free) to enroll.
Early Tuition Deadlines
Fall I
- Friday, July 30 – Early tuition deadline for Fall I. To receive the early tuition discount of $30 per credit hour, all fees and tuition must be paid by 5 p.m. Students who receive financial aid must have all paperwork completed. If you are unsure of your status, check with Financial Aid: 913.491.4432.
- Friday, Aug. 6 – Online enrollment for Fall I closes. All tuition and fees must be paid in full by 5 p.m. Students who have not paid in full will be administratively withdrawn from courses. To enroll in a course after this date, call 866.296.0160 or 316.636.2322.
Fall II
- Friday, Sept. 17 – Early tuition deadline for Fall II. To receive the early tuition discount of $30 per credit hour, all fees and tuition must be paid by 5 p.m. Students who receive financial aid must have all paperwork completed. Interterm
- Friday, Dec. 5 – Early tuition deadline for Interterm. To receive the early tuition discount of $30 per credit hour, all fees and tuition must be paid by 5 p.m. Students who receive financial aid must have all paperwork completed. - Friday, Dec. 10 – Online enrollment for Interterm closes. All tuition and fees must be paid in full by 5 p.m. Students who have not paid in full will be administratively withdrawn from courses. To enroll in a course after this date, call 866.296.0160 or 316.636.2322.

Cancellation of a course: All scheduled courses are subject to sufficient enrollment. Baker University reserves the right to cancel courses or make other revisions as necessary and to do so without incurring obligation.
