Moodle is Baker’s Internet-based learning management systems. This system is used extensively for our online and distance courses and also as a supplemental resource for many of our face-to-face courses. Moodle accounts are set up for faculty and students who are enrolled in courses that include a Moodle component.

If you have trouble logging into Moodle, forget your password or have other technical questions, please submit an online Help Desk request. We will typically reply to your request within one business day.

Faculty Portal

The Faculty Portal is an online resource faculty use to manage courses and access tools and resources. You can use the portal to access course rosters, post attendance, and post final grades. Additionally, you will be able to review your personal information and change your Portal password.

To access the portal, log in and enter your username and password.

Faculty Email

During your first course with us, you will be assigned a Baker University faculty email account. Your personal email account address will be set up using your first name and last name. Your Baker-issued email account is the only email address we keep on file and is the only email address given to your students. It is extremely important that you check your account regularly; it is the primary way for us and students to communicate with you.

Writer's Help for Faculty

Writer’s Help, an online handbook, is a research tool for students and instructors that is strictly concerned with writing. Writer’s Help can be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet. It provides a continuously evolving search engine focused on writing-centered terminology. Instructors are provided content to aid in grading, instructing and assignment creation.
