Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Our program leads to a four-year baccalaureate degree in nursing, a BSN. Students take four full-time semesters of upper-division study after completing 62 hours of general education requirements. Students may enter the nursing program during the fall or spring semester.
Registered nurses may complete the RN-to-BSN program.
Admission Requirements
- Graduation from a state-approved high school or the equivalent.
- Completion of a minimum of 62 credit hours of required prerequisite coursework from an accredited colleges or universities. All prerequisite course work must be completed before beginning the nursing program. Students are accepted conditionally pending successful completion of program prerequisites.
- An overall prerequisite cumulative GPA of at least 2.7 on a 4.0 grade point scale. Only required prerequisite courses are considered in calculating the GPA for admission. All program prerequisites must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher. Pass/Fail grades will not be accepted unless it can be confirmed by the university that a pass is equivalent to a C or greater.
