School of Nursing Graduates
Graduates of the Baker University School of Nursing are typically employed in acute care hospitals working on medical surgical units, in adult and neonatal critical care units, in emergency departments, and in obstetrics, pediatrics and psych-mental health units.
Many of our graduates choose to stay in the Topeka and Kansas City area, but the current career market and their BSN from Baker give them the option to live and work just about anywhere in world.
Graduates represent Baker in other states at hospitals such as the Mayo Clinic, Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago and the medical centers at Duke University, Baylor University, University of Minnesota, and Northwestern University. In the last five years, five graduates have become members of the Army, Navy and Air Force Nurse Corps.
