Work + School +Life
A nursing degree from Baker University will be among the most challenging endeavors you will pursue. It will also be one of your most rewarding accomplishments.
More Than a Face in the Crowd
Small class sizes and a dedicated faculty combine to give you every opportunity to succeed. Your professors will not only know who you are, they'll take the time to learn about your life and help you develop a strategy to identify and accomplish your career goals.
Flexibility to Hold a Job
All class work and clinicals are scheduled during the day, but because of the challenging curriculum, first-semester students are discouraged from having an outside job. If financial concerns make an outside job necessary, our faculty will help you figure out how to best manage your workload. After the first semester, students have a bit more flexibility, and many students hold jobs in the evenings and on weekends.
A Compassionate Community
Nursing students form a close-knit community. Students study together, team up for community service projects, and relax together during social activities.
