Enrollment Instructions & Registration

Open enrollment occurs three times a year: spring, summer and fall/Interterm via telephone or in person on our Overland Park or Wichita campus. Current students may enroll online.

Enrollment dates, course offerings and registration details are listed under Graduate > Liberal Arts.

Save money and increase your chances of getting the courses you want by enrolling before the early tuition deadline.

Textbook & Educational Resource Delivery

For all online classes and on-ground classes with a preclass assignment, resources are shipped directly to your home address approximately two weeks before the first day of class. If your on-ground instructor does not require a preclass assignment, or if you registered within five business days or fewer of the on-ground class start, your materials will be waiting for you in the classroom on your first day.

Transfer Credits

Students are limited to six total hours of transfer credit, which includes graduate-level courses from regionally accredited institutions and Baker University’s continuing education courses provided they were completed within the last six years.

All credits considered for transfer must be completed before you enter the degree program.

Degree-Specific Information

Requirements for your specific program are explained in depth at information meetings scheduled throughout the year and conducted by department faculty. Before graduation, you must attend a final portfolio meeting and present your completed portfolio. All portfolios are assessed and are available for pickup at the Overland Park or Wichita Baker University office.
