MLA Concentration OptionsDuring the 36-credit-hour program, students must take a minimum of 6 credit hours in each of the three central areas listed below. Beyond those 18 hours, students may either choose a variety of courses from the seven areas of concentration or focus their coursework on one area as outlined below.
