Blackboard & Moodle

Blackboard and Moodle are Baker’s Internet-based learning management systems. These systems are used extensively for our online and distance courses and also as a supplemental resource for many of our face-to-face courses. Blackboard or Moodle accounts are set up for faculty and students who are enrolled in courses that include a Blackboard or Moodle component.

If you have trouble logging in to Blackboard or Moodle, forget your password or have other technical questions, please submit an online Help Desk request. We will typically reply to your request within one business day.

Faculty Portal

The Faculty Portal is an online resource faculty use to manage courses and access tools and resources. You can use the portal to access course rosters, post attendance, and post final grades. Additionally, you will be able to review your personal information and change your Portal password.

To access the portal, log in and enter your username and password.

Faculty E-Mail

During your first course with us, you will be assigned a Baker University faculty e-mail account. Your personal e-mail account address will be set up using your first name and last name. Your Baker-issued e-mail account is the only e-mail address we keep on file and is the only e-mail address given to your students. It is extremely important that you check your account regularly; it is the primary way for us and students to communicate with you.

You can access your e-mail at outlook.live.com. Screen shots are provided to assist you in following the proper procedure for login. If you need further assistance with your e-mail account, please submit an online Help Desk request. Please allow one business day for a request to be resolved.
