Wildcats set to face rival William Jewell Friday night

Sophomore Chris Cummins continues to lead the Wildcats with a 4-1 record.

BALDWIN CITY, Kan.- In their first night game of the 2010 season, the Baker Wildcats (13-17, 9-10) will look to get back on track after dropping a four-game series with HAAC leader Avila University this past weekend.

William Jewell College (28-8, 13-5) currently sits in second-place in the HAAC standings, just one game behind Avila University.

Junior Jared Herbert continues to lead the charge offensively, batting .393 on the season. Senior Nick Peterson has been the key run producer with 22 RBIs and three homeruns on the year.

Sophomore standout Chris Cummins (4-1) is the probable starting pitcher coming into play with a 2.74 ERA and 7.17 strikeout average.
