Joshua Zach and Steven Stewart led the Baker offense with respective batting averages of .500 and .462 for the weekend. Zach finished with six hits and three RBI’s while Stewart also checked in with six hits and two RBI’s.
Bryan Kindle was Baker’s leading run producer with five RBI’s.
On the mound James Gricol (4-0) picked up his fourth win of the season after throwing six innings with five hits and no earned runs in the 10-1 decision. Chris Cummins (6-1) continues to be stellar on the mound as he picked up his team leading sixth victory of the year. Cummins recorded his sixth-consecutive complete game in the 4-3 victory.
Baker welcomes non-conference foe Park University (15-12) to Sauder Field on Tuesday afternoon for a 2 p.m., doubleheader.
