Tabor Sweeps BU

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University baseball team couldn’t overcome the offensive power of 17th ranked Tabor College on Tuesday evening. The Jays‘ took the opener 10-3 and followed that with an 11-4 victory in the nightcap.

Bryan Kindle, Steven Stewart, and Ryan Thompson all recorded RBIs in the opener, but Tabor’s seven unanswered runs in the sixth and seventh innings sealed the Wildcats’ fate. View the game one box.

Tabor jumped all over Baker in the nightcap jumping out to an early 8-0 lead from which the Jays‘ never looked back.

Ryan Terstreip led the way offensively with a bases clearing double in the bottom of the fifth inning for Baker. View the game two box.

HAAC action gets back into full swing this weekend when Baker welcomes rival MidAmerica Nazarene for back-to-back doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday.
