BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University’s Sauder Field will host an Alumni Game on Saturday, Oct. 6 and asks all Baker University alumni who played baseball for the Wildcats to come out and participate in an effort to fundraise for the program.

Preparations for the game have been made by head coach and Baker alum Phil Hannon. The morning will start at 8 a.m. with batting practice for the participants. The game will begin at 9 a.m. and will conclude around 11 a.m. A donation of 25 dollars would be appreciated to participate and if you would like to purchase a 2012 Alumni Game t-shirt there will be a charge of an additional 25 dollars.

All proceeds from the game and apparel will go towards fundraising efforts for infield material and equipment at Sauder Field.

At the conclusion of the game, all participants and alumni are asked to visit the alumni picnic at the covered tent at the West side of Liston Stadium. The Baker Football team will then take on Avila at 2 p.m. in the annual Homecoming game.
