Lee went 5.1 innings and allowed just two earned runs on eight hits. He shutout the Jayhawks until the final batter he faced hit a two-run single to put KU up 2-0.
Then Ryan Lasneske came in relief and gave up two more runs in one inning of work. Justin Bye, Kyle Pattrick and Derek Schupp threw the final two innings to close out the game.
Starter Tanner Poppe had a terrific night throwing seven scoreless innings and allowed just one hit for KU. He struck out seven batters and the Wildcats only hit came from left fielder Brett Lechien.
KU had 14 hits on five Baker pitchers and Alex DeLeon hit his second home run against the Wildcats this season with a home run in the eighth inning.
DeLeon went 3-for-5 with three RBI's. Kevin Kuntz, Michael Suiter, Marcus Wheeler and Connor McKay all had multi-hit games for the Jayhawks.
Wednesday also marked the final games in the career's of six Baker seniors as Bryan Kindle, Ryan Thompson, Ryan Hahn, Josh Vossen, Justin Lane and Miles Sanderson all suited up for the final time in a Wildcat uniform.
