BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University head coach Phil Hannon announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Justin Madsen of Truman High School in Independence, Mo., on Tuesday afternoon.

Madsen will join the Wildcats in the fall after a career throwing for the Patriots. The 6'1 210 pound pitcher signed with Baker over offers from Missouri Valley.

He helped lead the Patriots to a semifinals appearance in the district tournament. He has two siblings, Shea and Maddie and is the son of Tim and Tracey Madsen.
