BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – After completing its most successful season in program history, the Baker University women’s basketball team continues to reload for the future, as they announced the signing of Julia Bannister a transfer from NCAA Division II Hawaii Pacific University.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Baker University women’s basketball ended its greatest season in program history with a No. 7 ranking in the final NAIA Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 poll.

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – After helping lead the Baker University women’s basketball team to its greatest season in program history, senior Macy Wallisch was named a 2015-16 NAIA Division I Honorable Mention All-American this week.

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – The No. 6 Baker University women’s basketball team became the first team in Baker athletics history since the 1986 Baker football team to compete in a NAIA national championship game on Tuesday night, as they fell to No. 2 MidAmerica Nazarene, 49-35, in the final game of the 2016 NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball National Championship inside the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – The entire 2016 Baker University women’s basketball senior class was named 2016 NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes at the National Championship event this week.

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – The No. 6 seeded Baker University women’s basketball team advanced to Tuesday night’s NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball National Championship game with a 50-34 win over No. 5 Benedictine on Monday night in the Fab Four.

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – The No. 6 seeded Baker University women’s basketball team continued its magical run through the 2016 NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball National Championship, as they defeated No. 4 Lewis-Clark State College (Idaho) on Saturday, 71-52, and advances to the NAIA Fab Four to take on Heart of America Athletic Conference rival, Benedictine College, on Monday, Mar. 21 at 6 p.m. inside the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – The No. 6 seeded Baker University women’s basketball team again made history on Friday afternoon, as they defeated No. 2 seeded Shawnee State (Ohio), 70-56, and advanced for the first time in program history to the quarterfinals of the NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball National Championship.
