No. 3 Oklahoma Baptist University takes down Baker 74-48
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Coming into play on Saturday afternoon the Wildcats knew they had a large task in front of them. No. 3 Oklahoma Baptist University is coming off its best season in school history and has reloaded with four Division I transfers for the 2009 campaign.
OBU held Baker to just 12 points in the first half of play. Offensively the Wildcats got some help from the bench. Rae Lynne Stewart (pictured) led the team with 10 points off 5-7 shooting from the field.
The Wildcats shot 32 percent on the night, hitting only 1 of 13 three-pointers. For the game, the Lady Cats converted 11 of 20 free throws.
OBU finished the game shooting 45 percent, while hitting 7 of their 18 three-point attempts.
