Baldwin City, Kan. — Down by 11 at halftime, Baker University rallied for a 60-55 women’s basketball victory over Friends on Tuesday night at the Collins Center.
The Wildcats (1-2) outscored the Falcons 40-24 in the second half. Junior Emily Gibson, a transfer from Washburn, scored a team-high 17 points and snagged 12 rebounds to lead Baker to its first win of the season.
Junior Aubree Gustin chipped in 10 points for the Wildcats. Junior Jenna Brantley dished a team-high 10 assists.
