Women fall to Kansas Wesleyan
SALINA, Kan. - Kansas Wesleyan took control early and never looked back. The Coyotes shot 64 percent in the first half to take a commanding 45-30 lead into halftime.
Baker battled back in the second half outscoring the Coyotes 29-22, while shooting 40 percent from the floor.
Emily Gibson (20), and Brittany Hines (15), led the way offensively for the Wildcats. Gibson (pictured) shot 60 percent from the floor while pulling down eight rebounds and blocking two shots.
Bench scoring was the killer. The Wildcats scored only two points outside of the starting lineup Tuesday evening.
Baker sits at 3-3 on the season. The Wildcats will be back in action Saturday when they travel to Columbia, Mo., to face Columbia College.
