Baker women fall to Columbia College
COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Baker women's basketball team dropped its second consecutive road game on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Columbia Cougars 56-64. With the loss, the Wildcats dropped to 3-4 on the season, while the Cougars improved to 5-1.
Turnovers were the story in the first half for the Wildcats. Baker turned the ball over 14 times, but still managed to head into halftime tied at 26-26.
Emily Gibson led the way for the Wildcats offensively and defensively scoring 17 points and pulling down nine rebounds.
