Baker upsets No. 24 EvangelBrittany Hines

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Brittany Hines (pictured) led the way on Tuesday evening, scoring 26 points off 10-12 shooting from the floor and 4-5 from beyond the arc. Emily Gibson recorded her third double-double of the season with 19 points and 13 rebounds, paving the way to a 66-61 victory over No. 24 Evangel.

Jenna Brantley played a key role, matching the single-game assist record of 10 that she set against Friends University on Nov. 10.

Baker never trailed in the contest and led by as many as 17 points. The Wildcats sit at 4-4 on the season and 1-0 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
