Baker women defeat Benedictine 69-56Brittany Hines

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Brittany Hines paved the way to victory yet again for the Wildcats. Hines scored 16 points off 4-7 shooting from the floor and 3-4 from beyond the arc.

Three players scored in double digits: Hines with 16, Emily Gibson with 12 and Cameron Roland with 10.

Turnovers were the story for Benedictine. The Wildcats forced the Ravens to turn the ball over 23 times as the women improved their HAAC record to 2-0 and season record to 5-4.

Emily Gibson recorded her fourth double-double of the season, pulling down 12 rebounds to go along with her 12 points.

Baker will be back in action Saturday when they host Lindenwood University at 5:30 p.m.
