Gibson named HAAC Player of the WeekEmily Gibson

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Baker University junior Emily Gibson (pictured) was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season. Gibson averaged 17.5 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists for the Wildcats last week.

Gibson highlighted the week with 15 points and nine rebounds in a 62-60 victory at William Jewell College last Thursday.

Gibson leads the HAAC with 9.5 rebounds per game and ranks second with 1.81 blocks per game.

Baker, 10-6 overall and 6-0 in conference, heads to MidAmerica Nazarene on Thursday. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m.
