Baker (12-10, 7-5 HAAC) trailed by just one point with 15 minutes to play in the first half, but a scoreless drought plagued the Wildcats yet again as Baker recorded just one field goal in an eight-minute span. Lindenwood took a 38-23 advantage heading into the break.
Baker closed the gap to 53-49 with 10 minutes to play in the second half, but free throws ended up being the deciding factor in the contest as Lindenwood went 27-for-30 from the charity stripe. Baker went just 10-for-14.
Lindenwood (13-7, 9-3 HAAC) had five players score in double figures, with Caroline Bourlioux scoring a team-high 18 points while shooting a perfect 18-for-18 from the charity stripe.
The Wildcats return to action on Feb. 3 when they travel to Central Methodist University for a 5:30 p.m., tipoff in Fayette, Mo.
