Ottawa outlasts Baker 65-61Gloria Atanmo

OTTAWA, Kan. – Two players scored in double figures for Baker Friday night, but it wasn’t enough as Ottawa hung on to defeat the Wildcats 65-61.

Alisha Fanshier led the way with 16 points while shooting 7-for-16 from the floor. Gloria Atanmo pulled down nine rebounds and 14 points, just one board shy of her first double-double of the season.

Baker (1-4) finished the game 24-for-61 (39 percent) from the field and 3-for-11 (27 percent) from beyond the arc.

Ottawa (1-3) finished the contest with three players scoring in double figures as Amber Ramsey led the Braves with 13 points and seven rebounds.

Baker returns to action on Saturday afternoon when they face Park University (4-0) at 6 p.m.
