Bench scoring was key as the Vikings outscored the Wildcats 24-15. Baker also committed 23 turnovers to Missouri Valley’s 15.
Missouri Valley (3-6, 1-1 HAAC) finished the contest with two players in double figures as Sami Jackson finished the contest with 21 points, while Ashley Maxwell added 13.
Gloria Atanmo and Alisha Fanshier led the Baker scoring attack with 15 points apiece. Atanmo also pulled down 10 rebounds to record her fourth double-double of the season. Shelbi Petty (12 points), Avery Vogts (11 points), and Rae Lynne Stewart (10 points) rounded out the Baker scoring attack.
Baker finished the contest 21-for-51 (41 percent) from the field and 6-for-9 (67 percent) from beyond the arc. The Wildcats also converted on 23-of-29 free throws.
