Kyrstie Ehm had a big night, with a season high 25 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the floor and knocked down four three-point field goals.
The Towanda, Kan., native was also 5-of-6 from the free-throw line and grabbed five rebounds.
Baker held Haskell to just 38.1-percent shooting on the night and caused 19 turnovers. Alisha Fanshier led the team in steals with three and poured in 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting and was perfect at the line with her 5-for-5 shooting.
With the loss, Haskell falls to 1-1. Haskell had three double-digit scorers including Sydney Jessepe, who led the team with 17 and teammates Jenine Coriz and Echo Keo had 10.
Baker outrebounded Haskell, 50-33, with Rece Huddlin leading the team with 12 and Rashida Simpson had eight. Simpson was the other Wildcat that scored in double figures with her 12 points.
Baker shot 43.3-percent as a team and hit eight three-pointers, they also shot a stellar 84.6-percent from the free-throw line on 16-of-20 shooting.
The Wildcats will now take on Park University this Friday, Nov. 9 at 5:30 p.m. and Ottawa University this Saturday at 1 p.m. both in Atchison, Kan., at the Benedictine Classic.
