BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University women's basketball team scored its most points in a game since the 2008-09 season, as they defeated Central Christian College, 92-39, on Saturday afternoon at the Collins Center.

The Wildcats scored over 90 points for the first time since, Feb. 21, 2009, when Baker defeated Missouri Valley, 91-74.

Baker has now scored 74 or more points in five of its six wins this season and improved to 6-3 on the season with the victory.

13 Wildcats scored on Saturday and Jami Hodge led all players with 16, while Kyrstie Ehm added 15.

Baker hit 12 three-point field goals, with Ciarra Washington and Ehm both knocking down three apiece and Hodge went, 2-of-3 from behind the arc.

The Baker defense held Central Christian to just 14 points in the first half and entered halftime up 46-14.

With the loss CCC falls to 3-5 on the season and shot just 26.7-percent from the floor, but did shoot 90.9-percent from the free-throw line, going 10-of-11.

Rece Huddlin also scored in double figures with 10 points and the Wildcat defense caused 27 turnovers and scored 45 points off of those turnovers.

Baker's bench outscored the CCC bench by a margin of 58 points, 60-2. Haleigh Tenpenny and Huddlin led the 'Cats in rebounding with five.

Baker will begin the Heart of America Athletic Conference regular season this Thursday, Nov. 29 at 5:30 p.m., when they travel to Kansas City, Mo., to take on Avila University.
