The Wildcats continue to hold third-place in the conference standings and handed Evangel its eighth conference loss of the season, as the Crusaders fell to 4-13 overall and 3-8 in the HAAC.
Baker received a double-double from senior Rece Huddlin, as she dropped 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
The contest was tied twice and the lead changed three times, Evangel led by three points with 9:55 to go in the game up 47-44.
But Huddlin took over for the Wildcats after that point with two free throws to cut the lead to two, then knocked in back-to-back buckets to give Baker the 50-47 lead.
After that point, Baker went on a 15-0 run to go up 17 points, 64-47, the Wildcats held on from there and took home the 70-52 win.
Ciarra Washington also provided Baker a spark with 15 points and nailed four three-point field goals.
The Wildcats caused 16 Evangel turnovers and collected 10 steals. Shea Shoemaker had a team high five steals and Huddlin added two.
Sierra McSpadden and Emily Akins scored in double figures for the Crusaders, as Akins scored 17 and McSpadden finished with 18.
Baker will hit the road next Thursday, Feb. 7 at 5:30 to take on Peru State at 5:30 p.m. Baker defeated Peru State back on Jan. 3, 76-69.
