Fanshier was one of four players from the Heart of America Athletic Conference named to the Honorable mention team that were selected by the NAIA-Women's Basketball Coaches' Association All-America Committee. One HAAC women's basketball player earned a spot on the Second-Team.
The 2012-13 Heart of America Athletic Conference First-Team All-Conference performer led Baker in scoring this season, averaging 13.6 points per game and knocked down a team high 52 three-point field goals.
"Alisha has been outstanding on the court from the time I recruited her out of high school through her senior year at Baker," said head coach Ben Lister. "She has continued to get better every year, and watching her grow into an All-American caliber performer has been one of the highlights of my coaching career. She played at an elite level this season. I am very proud of her and she is absolutely deserving of this recognition."
She shot 42.6-percent from beyond the arc and averaged 3.8 rebounds per game with 64 assists. She appeared in 30 games with 29 starts. She spent her entire four-year basketball career playing for Coach Lister, two years at Barton County Community College and two here at Baker.
